The third round of Community Action Team meetings (CATs) will be taking place across the Borough from next week, giving members of the public the chance to discuss concerns they have regarding their local communities; ideas for improvements; and the chance to bid for funds for local projects.
March CATs meetings all start at 7pm until 8.30pm, at the following locations:
Tuesday 4th March – Titchfield
Titchfield Parish Room (Parking in local public car park behind the hall)
Wednesday 5th March – Fareham
Uplands Primary School (very limited parking)
Friday 7th March – Portchester
Portchester Parish Hall (parking in local car park next to hall)
Tuesday 11th March – Crofton
Holy Rood Church (limited parking at the church)
Friday 14th March – Western Wards
Victory Hall, Warsash (parking on site behind the hall)
As well as elected members and officers from Fareham Borough Council, there will be representatives from Hampshire Police, the County Council, the Primary Care Trust, and the Local Strategic Partnership, giving the public the another chance to meet the people providing their local services.
Executive Member for Service Performance and Improvement, Councillor Trevor Cartwright, said: “We have been encouraged by the high level of attendance at both the September and January meetings. We are looking forward to welcoming the public to our third round of meetings in March and listening to their questions; concerns; and ideas“.
