Our Countryside Ranger Service is responsible for the management of the Borough Council's informal open space including important sites such as Holly Hill Woodland Park, Warsash Common, Fort Fareham, woodlands in Whiteley, The Gillies and Portchester Common (a site of special scientific interest)

The Nature Conservation service is provided which aims to conserve the natural environment of the Borough including the countryside, coast and open spaces.

The Countryside Service is run by the Department of Customer Services, Leisure and Community Division

Nature Conservation is the responsibility of the Planning and Transportation Department
