Housing

There are two Housing Divisions within Fareham Borough Council.

The Division of Strategic Housing is responsible for preparing and implementing a housing strategy, to provide sufficient housing of the right quality and cost to meet the housing needs of the residents of the borough. The division is also responsible for providing assistance to the homeless, providing advice to help people make informed choices about their housing options, working with Registered Social Landlords to provide new affordable homes to rent or buy, administering the housing waiting list, improving housing conditions in the private sector and raising energy efficiency standards across the residential sector.

The Division of Tenancy Services is responsible for managing and maintaining the Council's housing stock, including Sheltered Housing.
