In the picturesque village of Titchfield lies the historic Bugle Hotel, which was built in the 17th Century and was converted to a hotel from a large village house. The first innkeeper was James Brown, according to the survey of 1753.

Situated between Southampton and Portsmouth and very close to Fareham, Titchfield is an ideal location from which to explore the many varied attractions and features of the central south coast. About 10 miles to the west there is Southampton with its sea port and airport and immediately to the west of Southampton lies the beautiful New Forest.  To the east is the city of Portsmouth and its old Naval Dockyards.
