Since the middle of the 19th century, The Rising Sun has been a significant feature of the Warsash waterfront. Adjacent to the public hard, it over looks the River Hamble and offers impressive river and sea views over Southampton Water. A popular meeting place for watersports enthusiasts, The Rising Sun benefits from fabulous summer sunsets.

 

A bronze plaque confirms our involvement in the D-Day Landings and a memorial stands nearby.

 

Choose to eat in either the ground floor bar or take the spiral staircase to the first floor restaurant. We offer an excellent and varied menu, including a daily specials board, with seafood speciality. We welcome teenage children dining with an adult.
