The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice. Some of the issues they may be able to help you with include debt, housing and employment rights as well as personal issues such as family problems.

The Money Advisor is based at the Fareham Citizen Advice Office. Referrals can be made to the Money Advisor either by a referral from a CAB advisor or by the Housing Options Service at Fareham Borough Council.
The Money Advisor is someone who is trained to offer advice on debt and can help you negotiate affordable payments and set up repayment plans with your creditors, usually giving you more time to pay. This is a free service available to local people who may be experiencing financial difficulties for a number of reasons such as unemployment, ill health, divorce, mortgage arrears.
