Childcare and activities for young people, here we come!

Fareham Borough Council has joined forces with Hampshire County Council to work together on the development of new childcare places in the Borough, to support Hampshire County Council's Early Development and Childcare Plan and the Borough's Youth Strategy.  In order to assist with this objective, the Council has created a post, which will focus on the development of activities to support children and young people in Fareham, up to the age of eighteen. This can include provision such as out of school clubs, playschemes and weekend play and recreational provision, right through to activities for older children.

In addition to providing advice and support for new and existing provision, guidance is also available regarding the sources of funding and submitting funding applications, as well as signposting to local training and development opportunities.
