Childminders

  

Across the Borough of Fareham are registered Childminders that work from home who can look after children aged from 0-14 years

 

The Fareham Childminding Development Co-ordinator (National Childminding Association) is based at Merryfields Children’s Centre. The Co-ordinator works with new and existing registered childminders and other home based childcare providers to deliver a quality childcare service to children and families in the Fareham area. 

Did you know:-  

• Fareham Registered Childminders are regulated and inspected by OFSTED
• Fareham Registered Childminders are fully insured and checked through the CRB (criminal records bureau);
• Many hold a level three qualification in childcare.
• Fareham Registered Childminders take and collect children from Gosport pre-schools, nurseries and schools everyday.
• Some Fareham Childminders offer Early years Nursery education within their home-based setting, sharing the care between the local pre-school.
