Fareham Exercise Referral Scheme

The Exercise Referral Scheme has been set up to encourage and support  you in carrying out regular exercise as a habitual part of your life, which can benefit your heart, weight, muscles and mind. Regular exercise can help protect you from developing health problems or assist you to manage and control existing problems.

Are you a Fareham resident with any of these health conditions?

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Have an unhealthy weight
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Asthma
  • Osteoarthritis
  • COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
  • Suffer with depressions/ stress/ anxiety

If the answer’s yes to one or more of the above conditions, you could benefit from attending the ten week programme at Fareham Leisure Centre.

Important note if you would like to be referred on to the scheme, please discuss it with your GP first, they will then be able to make the necessary referral to the scheme administrator.
