Fareham Borough Council is committed to improving the health of Fareham residents and employ a Health Development Officer within the Leisure and Community Unit.

The main aim of the role is to provide a programme of health improvement campaigns and projects in an attempt to raise the awareness of adopting and maintaining a safe and healthy lifestyle, this often done in partnership with other agencies, such as Hampshire Primary Care Trust.
