Frequently Asked Questions

What are Community Action Teams (CATs)?
CATs are meetings set up at certain times throughout the year which help to ensure that we have a better understanding of the needs of Fareham residents and communities. The meetings give us a chance to hear from you and for you to hear from us. It is hoped that they will make a real difference to residents and their communities. There is up to £75,000 available for communities to bid for. Funding can only be used for capital projects.

Which CAT meetings should I attend?
The CATs ward map will help you to establish where your local meeting is to be held, but if you are still unsure, please contact your CATs officer on 01329 236100 or email cats@fareham.gov.uk to find out your local meeting venue.
