How to make a complaint

In the first instance contact the relevant department involved right away. If something has gone wrong it is often possible to put things right quickly if you let the service know. Alternatively, we may be able to explain why things have been done a certain way.

You can make a complaint in the following ways:

Write to Customer Services Centre, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7PU

If you have contacted the service and are still not happy with what they have done you can escalate your complaint via the Council's two-stage Corporate Complaint Procedure. The Corporate Complaints Policy details how we will deal with your complaint. The policy applies to most complaints, but there are some cases which will be treated in a different way. If this is the case, we will let you know.

Complaints about Councillors

If you have a complaint about a Local Councillor please contact the Council’s Monitoring Officer who will advise you further. Please write to: Monitoring Officer, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7PU
