Hampshire Highways and Fareham Borough Council

The Hampshire Highways Group has the responsibility of maintaining Fareham's road network.  A division of Hampshire County Council, they maintain most of Hampshire's 6,000 miles of roads as well as footpaths and streetlights.  However, motorways and trunkroads in the Fareham borough are managed by the Highways Agency (this is an external hyperlink) and Fareham Borough Council is responsible for other services such as street cleansing and parking.
