The main administrative functions of the council are based in the Civic Offices, which are located within the centre of Fareham, the ten storey building was constructed in 1974.

Civic Offices' opening hours

The standard office opening hours are:

Civic Offices

Monday to Thursday - 8.45am to 5.15pm

Friday - 8.45am to 4.45pm

Switchboard

Monday to Friday - 8.45am to 5.15pm

Banking Hall

Monday to Thursday - 8.45am to 4.30pm

Friday - 8.45am to 4.00pm

The Civic Offices is closed on all Bank Holidays.

How to get to the Civic Offices

 

Committee meetings

Meetings of the council and its committees are held at the Civic Offices. These are held in the evenings and are generally open to the public, who may attend to listen to the discussions and / or make a deputation. The dates of Committee meetings are available and the Civic Offices are open outside of the normal office hours to allow members of the public to attend. Should you wish to attend one of these meetings, please contact the Democratic and Legal Services Section of the Department of Finance & Resources on tel: 01329 236100 or e-mail democraticservices@fareham.gov.uk.

 

Council depot

The Council depot is located at Broadcut, Wallington in Fareham, Post Code PO16 8SP. It is from here that facilities such as Grounds Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Highway Maintenance, Refuse Collection, Pest Control, and the Transport Repair Centre, operate.

For Health and Safety reasons, the Council's Depot is not generally open to the general public. Should you have a need to visit the depot for any reason, please contact main reception at the Civic Offices on tel: 01329 236100 ext: 4502 or e-mail estatesservices@fareham.gov.uk.
