Site Monitoring

We use the website monitoring (this is an external hyperlink), alerting and reporting service provided by Axzona to ensure our website is performing satisfactorily. These results were independently gathered by Axzona's geographically-dispersed monitoring agents to verify the availability and performance of our website from the most important point of view - that of our end-users.

Navigating this site

We hope you find it easy to navigate around Fareham Borough Council's web site. You can find information by using the tabs at the side of the page or the Search facility located at the top-right hand side of the header. More help with navigation is available or you can e-mail webmaster@fareham.gov.uk. We are constantly reviewing the usability of our web site and any feedback is welcome.

Browser compatibility

Our web site is designed so that it is accessible to a wide range of browsers, including Web TV, older text only browsers and voice browsers (for people with visual disabilities).

We believe that we now support virtually all browsers so if you are having trouble using our site please e-mail us at webmaster@fareham.gov.uk about the browser you are using and we'll try and fix the problem as soon as we can. We regret that we do not have the means to test our site on every type of browser or computer (including Macintosh computers) but we would welcome any compatibility comments.

We also have a very small collection of pages for WAP mobile phones which can be found by using your Internet-ready mobile to browse to http://www.fareham.gov.uk/.

Text size

You can change the size of the text on your browser to make it easier to read. In Microsoft Internet Explorer this is done by selecting the View menu and Text Size option and choosing larger or smaller. In most other browsers you can press CTRL+ or CTRL- to alter the text size. You can also change the text size by selecting the Large/Small text in the top right hand corner of the homepage.
