During office hours:

Social Services are open;

Monday to Thursday - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

You can leave a message on the answerphone at all other times.

Out of office hours:

Emergencies - 0845 600 45 55 (if you need emergency help when offices are closed, for example, in cases of child protection or mental illness).

Help in hospital - there are Social Work Departments in most major hospitals: ask at reception or on the ward.
