Mayor to host her first monthly tea party

Councillor Mrs Susan Bayford, will host her first monthly tea party as Mayor of Fareham on Thursday 6th June. Everyone is welcome to join the Mayor and Mayor's Consort in the Mayor's Parlour in the Civic Offices, Fareham at 2.30pm.

During the afternoon, a talk will be given by representatives from local cruise company, Gem Cruises.

The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Mrs Susan Bayford, said: "I'm really looking forward to hosting my first tea party and I'd encourage everyone to join me and help raise money for some good causes at the same time. If you can't make this one, I'll be hosting a tea party on the first Thursday of every month during my Mayoral year, apart from August 2013 and May 2014."

Tickets for the tea party are £3 and all proceeds will be donated to the Mayor's chosen charities: The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, The Rainbow Centre for Adult Rehabilitation and Tradissar Riding for the Disabled based at Crofton Equestrian Centre.
