Local residents and community groups will benefit from a number of improvements to Ranvilles Community Centre after Fareham Borough Council agreed to give them £4,500 in funding.
The improvements, such as the purchase of new chairs, tables and blinds for the community centre, were made possible when Ranvilles Community Association applied to the Fareham Community Fund.
Councillor Miss Tiffany Harper, Chairman of the Titchfield Community Action Team said 'The hall is regularly used by several different groups including pre and after schools clubs, various activity classes and special interest groups. The purchase of this equipment enables all users to benefit and makes the centre more attractive to new users.'
Community Funding is available to any resident or organisation that benefits the local community or environment, and is based in the Borough.
