Press Release

21 October 2014

Enter Fareham's Twilight Zone

This Halloween (Friday October 31st ), fright fans are invited to join a guided walk with a psychic investigator to explore the spooky side of Fareham's parks and waterside. Meeting at the Sensory Garden, Osborn Road, walkers will hear about the old legends and history associated with the area, known for its night-time paranormal activity.

There are two sessions to choose from, starting at 7pm or 9pm, each lasting 1hr 45 minutes. Due to the fear factor, this event is not suitable for young children. Tickets are £4.50 and can be bought from Fareham Tourist Information Centre.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "This promises to be a fascinating, if spooky, look into the dark side. The psychic investigator brings scary local legends to life. It's a popular annual event so I would recommend booking now to avoid disappointment – beware though, it's not for the faint hearted!
