In Partnership with Y Services for Young People, Fareham's Play Rangers will be returning for three days of free spring themed activities for the under 12 year olds this half term. The Play Rangers give children the opportunity to join in group games, take part in activities and try their hand at crafty things, in a selection of our parks and green spaces across the Borough.
No booking is required; just simply turn up at any time during either the morning or afternoon sessions on any of the following dates:
You can find out which activities are scheduled each day by viewing the online timetable at www.fareham.gov.uk.
Executive member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: "I'm delighted the Play Rangers are back for February Half Term. The programme is a great way for children to enjoy free outdoor activities, in a supervised environment, during school holidays."
Y Services will be on hand to organise activities, but parents are responsible for their children at all times and children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Although the aim is to play outdoors, activities will be moved inside the nearby activity centres if the weather is poor. Play Rangers recommend checking their Facebook page (YPlaYrangers) to find out about any changes or e-mailing email@example.com for further details.
