The free Summer activities will be open to 11-17 year olds; and will include rugby from Fareham Heathens; henna tattoos; inflatables; archery; pamper sessions; DJ skills from DJ Small Paul; cake decorating; Sailing by Seafarers Sailing Club; Bike recycling with Motiv8; Smoothie bike from Y-Services; free bus travel courtesy of First Bus so that young people can travel to and from the venues free of charge.
Last year's events showed a 12% reduction in anti-social behaviour around Fareham compared to same time the year before. To add to this Programme Fareham Borough Council are delivering Mini Play Festivals so that the whole family can have fun throughout the summer months.
Chairman of the Fareham Community Safety Partnership, Cllr Trevor Cartwright said: "Access All Areas is a fantastic programme as it is engaging for young people; they can have fun, make friends, and enjoy themselves in a safe environment. I'd encourage as many young people as possible to take part."
