Press Release

4 September 2015

Come along and support your community with brilliant bulbs!

Fancy planting some bulbs to brighten up your community?

If you are a residents' group, community organisation or a school, you can collect some fantastic free bulbs from St Margaret's Nurseries, which have been supplied by the Council!

Running from Wednesday 9th September to Friday 18th September, simply turn up with proof of address, and you'll be given bulbs to plant in the community for everyone to enjoy.

Executive Member for Streetscene, Cllr Tiffany Harper says: "Bulbs are one of the easiest plants to grow, and the Council have been planting them with the help of the community now for 24 years. I encourage everyone to get involved and make Fareham blooming marvellous!"

Bulbs are on a first come, first served basis and sacks are limited to two per group. For further information, please contact: parks@fareham.gov.uk.
