Press Release

08 April 2016

Workshop for wildflower seeds

Learn how to create an easy to grow summer meadow at a free workshop on Thursday 14 April at the open space at Stubbington Green from 1pm.

Meadow style planting has become very popular over recent years with an ever growing number of locations planted in Fareham. As part of National Gardening Week (11 April-17 April) Fareham Borough Council is holding the workshop to show residents how they can grow their own meadows at home.

Paul Doran, Director of Operations, said: "This is a great opportunity to learn how to sow and grow wild flower seeds in your own gardens to help encourage wildlife."

No booking is necessary for the workshop, simply turn up on the day. Meet at the open space in Stubbington Green, opposite Holy Rood Church.

For more information please call the Horticultural Officer on 01329 236 100.
