The snow around the town centre paths and car parks in Fareham is currently being cleared and salted, but limited resources mean that other areas around the Borough will not be.
Priority areas such as sheltered housing schemes will be cleared tomorrow morning if the snow remains overnight.
All town centre Car parks are open.

Fareham Borough Council's coastal engineers at the Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership (ESCP) will be holding a drop-in exhibition at Holy Rood Church, Stubbington, PO14 2AS on Thursday 11 August 2016 from 1-7pm to show residents their plans for securing the future of the Hill Head Promenade.
Fareham Borough Council is proposing two phases of work to the promenade area to ensure its long term future. These include:
The information event is to share how the Phase 1 works will happen and update the community on the Phase 2 seawall replacement project programme.
This holistic approach to coastal defence and beach management follows consultation with residents earlier in the year and work by coastal engineers to work out the most suitable solutions.
Executive Member for Planning & Development, Cllr Keith Evans said, "I would advise anyone with an interest in the promenade to attend to find out more and speak directly to the officers overseeing the proposed works that will secure the promenade for future generations."
