On Thursday 21 April local children and young people are invited to attend a Garden Party at Westbury Manor Garden by getting vintage and enjoying some traditional party activities in order to celebrate the forthcoming Royal Wedding. This free event, organised by Fareham Borough Council and Westbury Manor Museum will include:
Entry to the celebrations will be on a 'first come, first served basis', with two sessions of entry to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the event. Entry is at 2pm (this session will run until 3pm) and then 3pm (session runs until 4pm).
Executive Member for Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "With the whole country getting excited about the forthcoming Royal Wedding, this event is a great opportunity for local children to take part in a fun-filled party celebration to commemorate this special occasion."
The Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham, Councillor Brian and Councillor Susan Bayford will be attending the garden party and adding their thumb prints to the commemorative mosaic.
