Press Release

Wednesday 7th September 2011

Forever Remembered

On Sunday 13 November the names of loved ones who lost their lives as serving members in British Armed Forces' conflicts, will be read out at Trinity Church, Fareham from 10am, prior to the Remembrance Service, which starts at 11am.

Fareham Borough Council is holding the special service to 'Forever Remember' those who gave their lives in the service of their country.

Executive Leader for Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, said: "It is a privilege for us to honour members of the armed forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our country and to read their names out is an appropriate way to pay a tribute to them."

If you are a Fareham resident and would like the name of a loved one who has died as a serving member in the British Armed Forces conflict, to be added to a list of names to be read out prior to the service at 10am, please complete the online form here or contact Fareham Borough Council, tel: 01329 824303 no later than 21 October 2011.
