Priory Park Community Hall has received �2,500 from Fareham Borough Council's Community Fund to assist with the refurbishment of the hall's kitchen.
Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Se�n Woodward, said: "I'm very pleased we have been able to assist Priory Park Community Hall with funding to refurbish the kitchen. The hall is used by many community groups and the new kitchen will also have an 800mm high top area which will be suitable for wheelchair users, making the kitchen accessible to all".
The total cost of the kitchen refurbishment is �5,304, the remaining funds will be met by agreed funding of �1,500 from Councillor Woodward's Hampshire County Council fund, and the Priory Park Community Hall will raise the remaining �1,304 via their funds.
