Over the Christmas holiday period there will be some changes to refuse and recycling collections in the Borough of Fareham. Garden waste collections are currently suspended and will resume from Monday 16 January.
Please put out whichever bin is due, by 6am on the revised day.
Executive Member for Streetscene, Councillor Leslie Keeble said: "I'm pleased that Fareham will once again maintain its household waste collection over the Christmas period. The revised collection days will mean the minimum of inconvenience for households in the Borough. I would encourage people to recycle as much as possible throughout Christmas to help reduce the overall amount of waste."
Fareham Borough Council will be collecting real Christmas trees for recycling. Just put the tree out with your garden waste when the service resumes. There is no need to chop it up, just leave it beside the garden waste sack. The maximum trunk diameter is 10cm. One tree per property.
