Olympic Volunteer Workshop

Fareham Borough Council in partnership with Gosport Borough Council and Fareham and Gosport Volunteer Centres are hosting an Olympic workshop on Wednesday 18 January from 6.30 - 8.30pm at Cams Hill School, Fareham.

This completely free workshop is aimed at new and existing volunteers, local clubs and organisations wanting to increase volunteer participation. The event is an introduction to how you or your club can use the power of the London 2012 games to be inspired, to be included and how to get involved. All attendees will receive a special Olympic goody pack.

Executive Leader for Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Se´┐Żn Woodward, said:" This special Olympic volunteer workshop is a great opportunity for volunteers to identify new local volunteering opportunities during '2012' for example, supporting the Fareham 2012 Triathlon or helping out at the British Heart foundation - Round the Harbour Bike Ride".

Special guest speakers including Barry Kitcher, Hampshire County Council's 2012 Co-ordinator and Peter Hull, MBE Gold Medallist Paralympian (Swimming)
