Fareham and Gosport Councils Building Control Partnership (BCP), in conjunction with Hampshire County Council Property Services (HCC), has been recognised with a 'highly commended' in the Best Partnership category at the prestigious 2011 National LABC Building Excellence Awards.
This latest award follows on from their success in winning the 'Best Partnership' award at the regional LABC Building Excellence Awards in June 2011.
The awards recognise the importance of building control in creating high quality and sustainable building environments that comply with the highest standards of safety, environmental efficiency and accessibility. The 'Best Partnership' award recognises a successful partnership where a local authority building control department and other partners have worked together to deliver great buildings and innovative solutions.
