Volunteer Stewards Required

Fareham Borough Council is looking for Volunteer stewards to provide a key role on Sunday 15 July when the Olympic Flame passes through Fareham town centre.

The Volunteer Stewards are specifically needed to help ensure the safety and smooth running of this once in a life time event!

Volunteer steward duties will include:
 

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "The Torch Relay is a once in a lifetime spectacle and I’m very proud that it will be coming through Fareham. I really hope that lots of local residents will volunteer and help make this event a great success."

If you would like to be part of the 'biggest show on earth' then please email fareham2012@fareham.gov.uk, all expressions of interest must be received by Friday 29 June 2012 or speak with a member of the Leisure and Community Team 01329 236100.
