The next Community Action Team (CAT) meeting will be held on Tuesday 31 July at Portchester Parish Hall, Assheton Court, off Castle Street, Portchester. The meeting will run from 7.00pm until 8.30pm.
Chairman of the Portchester Community Action Team, Councillor Nick Walker, said: "At this meeting there will be a presentation and question and answer session on a range of topics and initiatives taking place across the Borough."
Due to ongoing legal proceedings neither Councillors or Officers will be able to comment on the Council's decision regarding the operation of the new Portchester Community Centre when it opens later in the year.
It is anticipated that there will be a high level of interest in this meeting. There is a capacity of 90 at the Parish Hall and for health and safety reasons attendance will be limited to this. At the end of the meeting, residents can talk to Councillors about issues in their local community.
