Press Release

Friday 14 September 2012

How can we improve your Youth Facilities?

Fareham Borough Council is making improvements to the youth facilities at Locks Heath House Park, and wants to hear from all local residents about their ideas on how to improve the current facilities.

Local residents are invited to an outdoor event at Locks Heath House Park, St Johns Road / Locks Heath Park Road, Locks Heath on Saturday 22 September from 11.00am - 2.00pm to share their ideas and opinions about how the youth facilities can be improved.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: “The event is open to everyone, where there will be information and displays to look at, along with questionnaires to complete. Young people will be able to get creative with the Play Rangers and show what new facilities they'd like to see at the park. A budget has already been identified to fund the improvements so we really want to hear your ideas”.

Copies of the questionnaire have been sent to households in the vicinity of the park. However any local residents who have not received one and wish to complete a questionnaire (and are unable to attend the event on Saturday 22 September) can request a copy of the questionnaire. Please email: ewatts@fareham.gov.uk or telephone 01329 824440
