On Sunday 11 November, the names of loved ones who lost their lives as serving members in British Armed Forces' conflicts, will be read out at Holy Trinity Church, Fareham from 10am, prior to the Remembrance Service, which starts at 11am.
Fareham Borough Council is holding the special service to 'Forever Remember' those who gave their lives in the service of their country.
Executive Leader for Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, said: "It is an honour to pay tribute to the members of the armed forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our country and to read their names out is a fitting way to pay that tribute. I am most grateful to the Old Priceans who originally made the suggestion for this additional act of remembrance. It is good to see other towns now following Fareham's example.”
