Executive Member for Streetscene, Councillor Leslie Keeble said: "I'm pleased that the residents of Fareham will maintain their household waste collection over the Christmas period. The collection days will be convenient for households, and like previous years, I would encourage people to recycle as much as possible throughout this time to reduce the overall amount of waste."

Christmas tree recycling

Fareham Borough Council will be collecting real Christmas trees for recycling. Just put the tree out with your garden waste when the service resumes. There is no need to chop it up, just leave it beside the garden waste sack. The maximum trunk diameter is 10cm. One tree per property
