Solar Farm planning application withdrawn

Fareham Borough Council has been notified today that the planning application from Vogt Solar to build a solar farm on land between Fareham and Stubbington has been withdrawn.

Councillor Nick Walker, Chairman of the Planning Committee, said: "We have just been made aware of the withdrawal. This means that the Planning Committee Special Meeting due to take place on Thursday 14 February has been cancelled."

The planning application had proposed solar panels and associated equipment, security fencing, landscaping, and two transformer buildings on 58 hectares (143 acres) of land, along with the provision of community green space for recreational use
