Fareham Borough Council's publicity team are currently working on the artwork for next year's Citizen of Honour Awards, and we need your help!
To illustrate the fact that the awards are all about local people – we thought why not use real people's faces as the background on the posters and nomination leaflets?
We're asking residents aged over 18 to send us their photos so that we can create a montage, 'wall of faces' effect. The pictures will then be used on the publicity material which will be distributed in October.
Here's how you can send us your picture:
Executive leader of Fareham Bought Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said: "We wanted to try something different this year to publicise the Citizen of Honour Awards. We hope by getting people involved like this we can really capture the spirit of the awards, celebrating those unsung local heroes. If you know someone who deserves to be on our 'wall of faces', why not encourage them to send us their photo! The effect is going to be striking and I'm looking forward to seeing the final design."
Please send in head and shoulder shots if possible.
The Citizen of Honour Awards recognise people in the Borough who've done exceptional things to help others, whether it be through bravery or caring for someone. There are three categories, recognising children, teenagers and adults.
The wall of faces will be created for the 18+ category.
We can't guarantee to use all the pictures.
This is for people who are 18 or over only.
By sending us your photo you are giving consent for Fareham Borough Council to use it on their Citizen of Honour artwork.
