Have your say on who should win the Fareham Youth Council elections

Fareham Youth Council (FYC) elections are now open until Wednesday 14 August and we would like local young people to vote on who should win.

Fareham Youth Council  are a group of young people that help make sure the views of young people are heard by local decision makers in Fareham. The group meet every couple of weeks to discuss and work on projects they are taking part in.

Every year the Youth Council hold their own elections to decide who should take on each role within the group. The roles up for grabs are Chair, and Vice Chair.

Youth Champion, Cllr Trevor Cartwright said:" FYC plays a vital part in getting young people's voices heard in Fareham. I would encourage as many people as possible to take part and vote in the elections, which will in turn help to get the best out of the Youth Council to benefit young people in the Borough"

To vote in the elections please visit www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations If you would like to join Fareham Youth Council, or just find out more about what they do, please email yp@fareham.gov.uk
