What better way for children to spend a day than by having fun and fresh air in the great outdoors! Every weekday throughout this summer, local children aged between 5 -12 years will get the chance to do just that with free Play Ranger activities organised by Fareham Borough Council in partnership with Y Services for Young People A local youth work charity.
You can have fun with the Play Rangers next week (Monday 29th July– Friday 2nd August) at the following locations:
For more details and precise locations please visit www.fareham.gov.uk.
Executive member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "Our Play Rangers give young people unique play experiences, encourage group play and the formation of new friendships. Children will get to play with a variety of play equipment such as football goals, badminton nets, tyre swings and arts and craft materials and have a lot of fun.'
The sessions are free and no booking is necessary children can just turn up and join in. Although expert supervision is on hand through Y-Services, children under 8 years old must be accompanied by their parent/adult carer and parents of all age groups remain responsible for their children at all times.
