Fareham retains prestigious Green Flag Awards

The Sensory Garden in Fareham town centre and Holly Hill Woodland Park have both retained the prestigious Green Flag Award for the 5th and 6th consecutive years respectively.

The Green Flag award is a national accolade that shows visitors that the park is well maintained and well managed, with excellent facilities; a high quality green space in the Borough of Fareham.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "I am delighted that both of these wonderful parks retain their Green Flags for another year, I would like to congratulate all the officers and volunteers in Fareham who work tremendously hard to ensure our Borough remains at such a high award winning standard".

All award-winning sites from the Green Flag Award scheme can be found at http://greenflag.keepbritaintidy.org/ External Hyperlink.
