Party with the Play Rangers

The Play Rangers are having another fun week coming up, including a mid-week Madi Gras in Titchfield.

 

The free summer long activities for 5-12 year olds are taking place all across Fareham getting children outdoors and having fun! There are plenty of toys and a variety of games and craft activities. The sessions are free and no booking is necessary so whether children want to play for half an hour or two they can arrive at any time during a session and start taking part.

 

You can find the Play Rangers next week (Monday 19th – Friday 23rd August) at the following locations:

Monday, 2pm – 4pm at Stubbington Recreation Ground, Bells Lane, Stubbington village centre Theme: Footy Fun & Backyard Beach

Tuesday, 10am – 12noon at Portchester Community Centre, Westlands Grove. Theme: Eco World & Green Activities /  2pm – 4pm at Fareham Leisure Centre, Park Lane. Theme: Backyard Beach

Wednesday, 10am – 12noon at Bellfield Play Area, Titchfield. Theme: Mardi Gras

Thursday, 2pm – 4pm at Hollybrook Gardens, Locks Heath. Theme: Nature Play

Friday, 10am – 12noon at  fareham North West Community Centre, Henry Cort Drive (off Hillson Drive). Theme: Footy Fun & Messy Art      

 

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "Play Rangers provide entertainment for children throughout the summer holidays. It is a great success and a really good way for children to get outside, have fun with other children and join in structured group play".

 

Although expert supervision is on hand through Y-Services, children under 8 years old must be accompanied by their parent/adult carer and parents of all age groups remain responsible for their children at all times. For more details and precise locations please visit www.fareham.gov.uk
