LetSelect
Due to the Festive Period properties currently available will be advertised until 12 Noon on 6th January 2009LetSelect is the name of Fareham Borough Council’s choice based lettings scheme. Choice based lettings is a new way of allocating council and housing association accommodation which involves available properties being advertised for expressions of interest from Housing Waiting List applicants.
You will only be able to use the LetSelect system if you are registered on the Housing Waiting List.
How do the adverts work?
The adverts will usually run for a week and anytime during that week you can express an interest in as many properties as you like (provided it is the right size for your household). The successful applicant will be the person who is in the highest position on the waiting list and has expressed an interest in that particular property.
Remember, you bid for a property with your position on the Waiting List. It is not a monetary bid!
What if I can’t use a computer or telephone?
If you think you will experience problems in using the internet to view properties or using the council’s telephone message service please contact the Housing Waiting List Officer to discuss ways in which we can help.
