An opportunity has arisen to join the Council’s Finance Team on a temporary basis for one year.
You would work in the role of Finance and Revenue Officer assisting with a wide range of operational finance services. This will include working with the local tax, exchequer and other finance teams in the day-to-day provision of their regular and new services, including the provision of Energy Rebates to Council Tax customers.
You must have a customer orientated approach and experience of working in a busy office environment. You will need excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in a variety of ICT packages and systems.
You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing work requirements whilst remaining calm, polite, positive and cheerful.

Sylvan Court in Sarisbury Green

We are looking for a Sheltered Housing Court Manager for our Sylvan Court Sheltered Housing scheme in Sarisbury Green.
As part of a small team you will help to provide safe, secure and functional accommodation for residents. You will provide additional assistance and support to those with special needs and help residents to maintain their independence where possible.
You will need excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a calm, positive and cheerful attitude. You must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. You’ll need to be flexible, organised and able to work as part of a team.
You will need to be part of an out of hours rota to respond immediately to emergency calls for assistance. The out of hours rota will mean you are on call one week in every 6 (16.30 to 8.00 Monday-Friday and covering the whole weekend for which enhancements are paid.) You may be required to work on bank holidays. You will join a small Mobile Sheltered Housing Officer team. This post will be based at Downing Court in Titchfield Common for approximately one day per week. You will provide additional assistance and support to those with special needs and help residents to maintain their independence where possible.
