Fareham Borough Council has started a Community Governance Review in response to a petition from 322 local residents to create a parish in Funtley.
To help the Council carry out the Community Governance Review, they want to know whether local residents would like to see a Parish Council set up in Funtley and the reasons for your views. Have your say before Monday 14th December by completing the Council's short survey.
If you have received a consultation letter from the Council you will need to use the login number written below the address on the letter to access the residents survey. If you know someone who should have received a letter but didn't please let the Council know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning 01329 236 100.
You can find out more about the review and about Parish Councils by visiting the dedicated webpage on the subject.
A Community Action Team Meeting on the topic will be held on 24th November between 7 - 8.30 pm at Funtley Social Club, 84 Funtley Road. Due to the limited space at the venue, this event will be ticketed and limited to a maximum of two tickets per household on a first come first served basis. Please email email@example.com or phone 01329 236 100 to reserve your place.
Following the consultation the Council will take these comments into review and publish the final recommendations in Summer 2016 and if required will make a Community Governance Reorganisation order to give effect to agreed changes.
