Residents of Fareham are being asked to use their vote in the local and European elections, taking place on Thursday 22 May 2014.
There are 16 seats up for election in the Fareham Borough Council elections. The European elections taking place on the same day will see 10 seats being contested. You can find out about the individual candidates contesting each seat on the Council's website www.fareham.gov.uk.
To take part in the elections you must register to vote by Tuesday 6 May. If you haven't registered already you can download an application form from www.aboutmyvote.co.uk or you can telephone the elections helpline on 01329 824587 (normal office hours) or email email@example.com
Fareham Borough Council's electoral registration officer, Peter Grimwood, said: "I would like to encourage everyone who is entitled to vote to turn out on 22 May and choose who they want to represent them."
