Fareham Borough Council has received a planning application from Lidl for a proposed food store on the Castle Trading Estate in Portchester.
The planning application proposes the demolition of the existing buildings on the old Homewood Interiors site and the construction of a Lidl food store with around 70 parking spaces.
Councillor Nick Walker, Chairman of the Planning Committee, said: "We will have to consider a number of planning issues before making a decision on the application. I would advise anyone interested in the planning application to look at the information on the Council's website and comment on the proposed plans."
