A Remembrance Sunday Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday 13 November from 10am.
There will be a Parade from the Duke of Connaught's Own Club in Western Road to the memorial outside of Holy Trinity Church. The names of loved ones who lost their lives as serving members in British Armed Forces' conflicts will then be read out. After this, there will be a wreath laying ceremony and church service.
The Mayor of Fareham, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: "It is important that we remember those who served our nation so bravely. I hope that residents will join us on Remembrance Sunday to give thanks to the servicemen and women who have fallen in past conflicts and to salute their sacrifice."
HMS Collingwood, in partnership with the Royal British Legion, has the honour of leading the Remembrance Parade to the Memorial. The Commanding Officer of HMS Collingwood will be attending the parade with HMS Collingwood's Volunteer Band.
The Mayor's Cadet, Able Cadet Adam Pryce-Jones, will be the wreath bearer for the Mayor and local scout and guide groups will also be attending.
