Fareham Area Disability Forum, a user-led charity committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities, their families and carers locally will hold its first AGM on Wednesday 16 March at 2pm in Wallington Village Hall, Fareham.
The guest speakers are:
Penny Melville-Brown OBE who was a Naval Criminal Barrister and Commander until the onset of visual impairment. Penny whom is a champion of disability issues, and leads Disability Dynamics, will speak on employment.
Mark Miller, Concessionary Fares Project Manager at Hampshire County Council will give the forum an update on the forthcoming changes to concessionary fares.
Executive Member for Performance and Improvement, Councillor Leslie Keeble said:"I fully support this Forum and all the work they carry out locally, I hope this AGM is the first of many more to come."
Fareham Area Disability Forum always welcomes new members. Membership is free however it is not necessary to join in order to attend the AGM.
