The Western Wards Community Action Team (CAT) meeting will be held on Wednesday 26 October 2011, at Victory Hall, Warsash. The meeting will start at 7.00pm until 8.30pm.
The chairman of the Western Wards CAT, Councillor Trevor Cartwright, said: "At this meeting local people will have a chance to talk to a representative from NHS Hampshire about the future of the Locks Road Surgery. There will also be an update from the local police and presentations from Insulate Hampshire and the Fire Service.
"The Western Wards CAT meeting will allow residents to tell us how they want their local community to develop and how we can work together to achieve it."
The meeting will finish with questions from the floor and people will be given the chance to chat with the Chairman and local Councillors.
CAT meetings give residents the chance to discuss any concerns regarding their local community and suggest any ideas they may have to improve their area, as well as bid for Community Funding.
