The next Portchester Community Action Team Meeting will take place at Portchester Parish Hall, Assheton Court on Tuesday 28 February. The meeting will run from 7.00pm-8.30pm.
The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Trevor Cartwright said: "CAT meetings are a great place for residents to have their say about what is going on in their community and find out about initiatives which are going on in their local area. They can also discuss any projects they may have which could benefit from the Council's Community Fund"
At this meeting the local police will give an update on issues in Portchester. The CAT officer will update residents on both Portchester Community Centre and Portchester precinct. Gavin Holder of The Coastal Partnership will talk about the local coastal defence strategy and Hampshire County Council will give a presentation on the Street Lighting Improvement Programme.
